La Kubo is Esperanto for "The Cube", and the cubeness of the author is the closest thing that this blog will come to a common theme. I am a cube, a square's square. I am also caught in between different worlds in the college social spheres; I am too plain and square for the drinkers and I am too normal and judgmental for most nerds. I am a hypocrite, a Christian reactionary who struggles with putting full faith in Jesus, His Word, and His Body and being an example of His follower, even to the point of blasphemous rebellion in my heart. I am against sexual depravity who is overcoming a pornography addiction that has warped my inclinations. I don't show enough love for my fellow man while also condemning what passes for love these days, whether it be a hippy-dippy sappy kind of love, or the unspeakable depraved acts that we are forced to acknowledge as normal. I am a monarchist who still has yet to fully kick a distrust of authority. And I could go on...
The topics on this blog will range anywhere from the woeful state of art to the world of nerdom to politics to religion to science to society to bacon. Agree with what I say? Send me your two cents. Disagree? I'm willing to discuss any problems you might have with my thoughts in a calm manner-except if it's about bacon, because there is no excuse for that.
